"Where smooth jazz and folk, r&b and blues, country and rock and roll melt into an eclectic blend of Americana, Danny's songs of life, struggle and pain, funny songs as well as tragic tales have been heard all over the world." A native of Portland, Oregon Danny Hay Davis has been creating his distinct brand of music for over two decades. Danny played over 600 shows as lead guitarist for the blues, country, rock band "The Yanks" from 2001 thru 2004, opening for acts like Molly Hatchet and Jimmy Van Zandt, and also as headliners of various ABATE sanctioned events. He has played on some of Portland's best stages, including the legendary punk club, "Satyricon", as well as the cities best nightclubs and blues bars. Danny has performed his original material on Beale Street in Memphis, Tenn, has had his songs aired on the radio in 4 countries, and sold CD's in 9 countries and 14 states, so far!
