Album Notes

Warm, soothing, refreshing, and original are just a few words that describe Danny J. Player’s second self-produced album, Sunset Cliffs. A totally different sound from Danny J. Player’s previous album, House De Neon, Sunset Cliffs includes a beautiful mix of progressive trance, tech trance, and house, with the end result being a true musical landscape from start to finish. The introductory track, Sunset Cliffs, really made me feel I was at the edge of a cliff watching a sunset. With ocean effects, relaxing drums, and a mellow piano melody, it’s easy to grasp Danny’s creative musical style as soon as the journey begins. Some tracks to look out for are Tomorrow's Another Day and Changes, which both feature electronica vocalist Shiva Motahari, A Million Places featuring acoustic/pop rock musician Taran Gray, Rollercoaster, the tech trance anthem, and The Mystery Caves. Overall, you’ll be hearing guitar riffs, piano melodies, violins, warm strings, strong synths, and catchy vocals. So if you’re looking to get a breath of fresh air, I’d recommend you turn your ears to Danny J. Player’s Sunset Cliffs.

Melodic perfection
author: Juha Soininen
I was totally blown away by this record. Filled with melodic moments and dreamlike pianos, you can picture yourself looking at the sea and feeling the sun on your skin. I have to say that Danny has done better work on Sunset cliff than the highly appreciated Ferry Corsten on his latest album Twice in a blue moon. Danny has really captured the essence of trancemusic. This cd is pure ecstacy!!

The Definition of a True Album
author: Vince Ray
First off, I've listened to many albums by the greats such as Armin, Ferry, Andre, and what not. This album can easily be compared to their albums. Here's why: 1)There's a theme to this album. Danny crafted an album in order to give a sense of being at this place, Sunset Cliffs. This album is a piece of art in a sense. 2)There's a story behind these songs. 3) The most important of all: IT'S ORIGINAL. Danny's work is original. Just like the description says: it's a breath of fresh air. I'd recommend this album to anybody. Great job Danny! I'm really looking forward to what you have planned next!! -Vince
