Album Notes

Danny Quinn has toured the US, Ireland, Canada and England for over 31 years. Danny is a singer/songwriter who specializes in Irish and American folk music. Inspired by his father Richard Quinn who was himself a singer. Starting with Rock and Roll in his youth and then falling in love with the music of the Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem
Danny and his brother Tim toured the Northeastern United States as the Mighty Quinn.
In the early eighties Danny became a founding member of Stoutheart who were a group who toured the US promoting Guinness Stout. Danny realized a dream when he became a back up guitar player for Tommy Makem himself and toured throughout the US and Canada with Tommy. Danny has released several albums of his own music and music from Ireland and America. Danny has been the host of many radio programs and also now tours in duo called The Uncle Brothers performing for children throughout the US.

I really enjoy the songs on this CD. I am a long-time fan of Irish music and like that I aready know most of the songs and can sing along. I really like Danny's voice.
