Album Notes

Danny Quinn is a performer who has now toured the United States and Canada for the last thirty years. Performing a mixture of Irish and American folk as well as some light rock Danny has recorded over twelve albums. After forming a band with his brother Tim Quinn back in the late seventies called The Mighty Quinn, Danny then joined the band Stoutheart. Both of these bands were dedicated to performing Irish folk music and Stuotheart was sponsored by Guinness Stout. Beginning back in the mid eighties Danny became a back-up guitar player for legendary Irish singer/songwriter, Tommy Makem. They traveled throughout the U.S. and Canada together and appeared on WCBS Morning Show. Danny eventually formed the Danny Quinn band and recorded two cds with them including "Gifts From a Bard" and "The Game". Touring mostly solo now Danny also performs with award winning children's group The Uncle Brothers. There are other wonderful Danny Quinn products here on Cd Baby.
