A songwriter album in the tradition of Townes Van Zandt, John Prine and Willie Nelson. Danny's songs vary from raw solo acoustic to troubadour fingerstyle picking to country blues, to his full americana band, The Red Glory Ramblers. "The Good, The Bad, and the Red Glory Ramblers", is a mix between traditional and contemporary music. These are songs are about real everyday life. About our pains...our sorrows..our joys. Danny writes honest songs filled with heart and soul. His songwriting weaves through various generations and appeals to both young and old. Danny Shafer is a songwriter in every sense of the word. If you love country/folk/soul/blues music with lyrics that tug at your core -- you will LOVE Danny Shafer. And you will LOVE this album!
