Energized and motivated after traveling the Caribbean, Dan launched Dano's Island Sounds. Highlighting the steel pan and incorporating a crowd pleasing blend of original compositions, traditional Caribbean melodies, and pop cover songs Dano's Island Sounds entertains audiences of all ages throughout Southern California. Dano's Island Sounds released instrumental CD's "Pan in Paradise" in 2003 and "One Drop Pop" in 2007 to rave reviews.
Versatile and imaginative, Dan creates hooky melodies with driving rhythm. As producer, engineer and composer Dan brings together years of performance experience and collaborative writing skills with musical knowledge, instinct and passion. Dan is heavily influenced by The Police, The Beatles, Bob Marley, Henry Mancini, John Barry, Adam Schlessinger and a long list of Brit Pop, contemporary rock and reggae/world artists.
