Dan Pejril, songwriter, musician, husband and father believed it important to teach his children about simple American traditions he grew up singing and celebrating! Appealing to a new audience of listeners, Dan created the music for his CD ---Traditional American Music: Lullabies using the most beloved and treasured songs from our nation’s history. The traditional American songs have been approached with a new vision - the stately grandeur of the Star Spangled Banner has been transformed to a delicately orchestrated arrangement with traditional stringed instruments. Each song gives listeners a new American experience… another reason to honor and reflect on our rich heritage… another reason to proudly celebrate America the Beautiful!

Dan believes knowing the songs of our past will help remind us of the unique qualities of our country and hopefully remind us there are more things we have in common with each other rather than divide us. It is so special for Dan to see his children enjoy listening to the music he has written. The nature and the presentation of these songs make them perfect for children’s bedtimes as well as adult relaxation.
