An Electrifying Orchestra
author: R. Rudge
Since discovering Dan Sindel's music on the web, I have been looking forward to the release of his cd. Marching In fulfills all expectations. There are many superb guitarists out there, but Dan Sindel stands out from the crowd with his original and highly distinguishable electrifying orchestra. It's hard to believe that this magnificent sound is achieved solely with a guitar! The textures and interpretation are not only the work of a fine musician, but a highly skilled arranger and composer.

Creative Genius
author: Martin Brown (LQM)
Dan has recreated classic songs that will appeal to a much broader audience than the majorettes at the college marching band. Any fan of Americana, Classical or Rock will be inspired by the amazing tonality and structure of this amazing record. It takes an incredible amount of patience, time, commitment and skill to build something as majestic as this, dozens upon dozens of carefully layered musical parts make this sound like you were in the best seat of the house in front of a revered philharmonic orchestra. A work to be admired...

a "One Man Orchestra"
author: Ghostie
I had the pleasure of listen to Dan’s new CD" Marching In" and right from the first song I had a smile on my face and a light step in my feet. The marching tunes made me want to get up and shake it and the spiritual tune lifted my heart.
Then I stopped and listened... and was truly amazed by what I was hearing, the fact that you get caught up in the music and think you are hearing all these different instruments, when in truth your hearing what this wonderful talented musician had recreated with the use of his many guitars. Dan Sindel is truly a "One Man Orchestra" who everyone should have the pleasure of listening too!

Stunning Musical Effort
author: Bill Rhynes
Dan Sindel has accomplished a work of brilliance and originality whose time has truly come in this collection of music by John Philip Sousa. I was intrigued by the idea of hearing Sousa’s classics performed on the electric guitar, but I had no idea what I was in for. Dan Sindel has not just covered a bunch of Marching Band songs. Rather, through the combination of layered multi track recording, dead on arrangements and a masterful feel for the guitar, he has created a stunning musical effort which is quite staggering when you consider how many hours of fretwork went into this. Technical jargon aside, the music itself explodes with passion and excitement, not to mention a refreshing patriotic fervor. That spells genius in my book.
