Listened...with joy and anticipation

Starr creates a wide range of scenes in his debut recording. Some are light and lilting, like clouds floating above the desert on a springtime afternoon. Others dance along hurriedly, like children chasing butterflies....Not since George Winston's "December" have I listened to a solo piano recording over and over again with such joy and anticipation.
