Rather than focusing on his struggles, he (Dan) wanted to give the glory to Christ - and to tell his listeners about the joy that heaven brings. One song that powerfully carries that message is "Waiting for the Resurrection", which is among the CD's best tracks. It is at once both a love song and a profound confession of faith and hope.

A Talent Most Surely from God!!

Dan's music takes me all over the place from flying a kite, which I bought after I heard Kite Flying, to instructing that folks Dance at my Funeral!! I love his deep connection to God while keeping his feet on the ground. Dan and I share a connection - we both have brain tumors. So, it's no small matter for me to hear music from a young man so talented. It hurts that his talented life has been cut short by these diseases, and it makes me want to shout from the top of the hills to people to give money to find cures for brain tumors for young people. I'm and old woman, and my life is almost over, but this young man was full of life! Please, let's cure brain tumors! And buy Dan Steven's other album, Beggers and Kings!!
