Album Notes

Night Time! is the third CD of handmade all-ages 21st century folk music from Dan Zanes and Friends.

It won the Parents Choice Gold Award and was the Amazon.com children's record of the year in 2002.

Night Time! is a celebration of the mysterious hours between dusk and dawn.

This isn't what you would call a lullaby record (note the exclamation point) but when the dance party is over and it's cool down time, this mostly acoustic CD of handmade songs for the all-ages underground will fill the air with lyrical, organic, sounds and songs.

Guests include John Doe, Aimee Mann, Lou Reed, and Dar Williams as well as returning friends Barbara Brousal, Father Goose, The Sandy Girls, Donald Saaf, and The Rubi Theater Company.

I love this album! Oh, and so does my 2-year-old daughter... Hysterical temper tantrums are immediately squelched with the question, "Do you want to listen to the 'Rattlin' Bog' song?" without fail. She loves this CD so much that it comes from the house to the car and back again with us so it can be listened to at all times. We've had it for quite a while (and listen to it very frequently) and my husband and I still enjoy listening to it every time.  Thank you for making such great, fun music for the whole family to enjoy.

The service was terrfic, the CD arrived so quickly.  I gave this CD to my grandson in his Easter Basket.  He loves the CD, so does his big Sister and his Mom and Dad.  My Grandson is wild about Father Goose and Dan Zane, Wears his Dan Zane shirt and his Fater Goose Hat all the time.  Keep on rockin, never stop, you are too fantistic!
