Album Notes
Night Time! is the third CD of handmade all-ages 21st century folk music from Dan Zanes and Friends.

It won the Parents Choice Gold Award and was the Amazon.com children's record of the year in 2002.

Night Time! is a celebration of the mysterious hours between dusk and dawn.

This isn't what you would call a lullaby record (note the exclamation point) but when the dance party is over and it's cool down time, this mostly acoustic CD of handmade songs for the all-ages underground will fill the air with lyrical, organic, sounds and songs.

Guests include John Doe, Aimee Mann, Lou Reed, and Dar Williams as well as returning friends Barbara Brousal, Father Goose, The Sandy Girls, Donald Saaf, and The Rubi Theater Company.

WOW!!!
The service was terrfic, the CD arrived so quickly. I gave this CD to my grandson in his Easter Basket. He loves the CD, so does his big Sister and his Mom and Dad. My Grandson is wild about Father Goose and Dan Zane, Wears his Dan Zane shirt and his Fater Goose Hat all the time. Keep on rockin, never stop, you are too fantistic!

I cannot tell you how wonderful the Dan Zane, NightTime is for us. It was given to us after our second child, Benjamin, was born. It has been played many a late night and early morning. Dan Zane was introduced to us a couple of years ago and I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to have children's songs that are enjoyable for the children and parents....thank you. By the way, I currently own four Dan Zane CD's and am now giving them as gifts myself.

A very enjoyable musical experience for the whole family--beautiful songs sung by very talented artists with great lyrics. Favorite songs are Night Owl, Smile,Smile,Smile, and Firefly.

I heard Dan on the radio. He has a great idea about handmade music. "Nighttime" sounds like I could sing it too -- I'm included in the pleasure of it. But these musicians clearly know what they're doing and they're a joy to hear. I'm buying 5 or 6 copies.

Night Time Shines!
I am a Night Owl. I am also new to the music of Dan Zanes and Friends. All of his cd's are treasures. I relate to the theme of this one because I too am a Night Owl. Why can't I be in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn, jamming with these folks??? Nothing could be more fun! I have a friend who plays guitar. I sat at my piano, and he sat with guitar, and together we learned to play the title song. Montana isn't Brooklyn, but the spirit of making music is alive, thanks to Dan Zanes and Friends.

Great CD
Wonderful CD! My child really likes it (almost as much as I do). Mellow tunes and a positive message. All around great kids cd. I will be buying more of Zanes CDs.
