"here we are, tuned up, dressed up, and ready to roll. lights, camera, voices ready! this dvd should give you an idea of the kind of fun that people can have when they make music together. it may have you imagining that a banjo-ukulele is a very good idea for a girl in over-alls, or anyone else for that matter. i'm sure it will get you thinking that drummers have all the fun (not true) or that your piano lessons are probably going to lead you to the accordion (very possible).

perhaps the deep sound of the upright bass will have you so entranced that you dream about it at night (if you're not dreaming about tubas). maybe you won't even notice the instruments because you'll be so interested in the way the we look at each other when we're belting out a song (you may be thinking who needs instruments anyway when you have a voice? good question). i hope that when the last note of the last tune fades away that you feel like making some music of your own. fill your head with songs and start a family band! gather together with neighbors and sing until long after dark!
