BIOGRAPHY
Darcell has emerged as the music industry’s vibrant, dynamic and phenomenal vocalist with a powerful message of encouragement for today’s generation.

Born in Detroit, MI, Darcell started performing at an early age with appearances in numerous festivals and concerts. By the time Darcell graduated High School, she had already performed in London, England and at the White House in Washington, D.C. for the Secret Service Christmas Party.

The title song “Joy” from her debut CD “Joy is Better” released in April of 2007 was consistently in the top 5 on several urban radio stations. “Joy” reached number “1” on Detroit’s premier gospel stations. Darcell is fearlessly taking it to the streets with the goal of reaching those who need to hear what it means to have real “joy.”

The hard-hitting dance track entitled “If U Wanna” released on August 1, 2008 is the sophomore single release to her debut album and is sure to please the listening audiences across every genre of music.
