Darien's recent CD, "Now" premiered at the Annenberg Theatre in Palm Springs, CA in November, 2006.

Notes on "Now" by Darien: The songs on my CD, "Now" were written during a 3 week period in August of 2006. I was alone at my cabin in the mountians of Southern California, in the small town of Idyllwild. I had none of my arsenal of recoding equipment, no piano, (even though I'm primarily a pianist) just my old acoustic guitar and, of course, my voice. I had the luxury of 3 weeks of quiet creative time within which I could just allow the melodies and words to appear in my mind and my notebook. These 14 songs are the result of that time. I even lugged my recording equipment up to the cabin during the last week and recorded all the tracks in my kitchen! I hope you will listen and please, let me know your thoughts about these songs, ok?
