A woman I know sent the following email message:
"I had a chance to listen to your CD on the way home from the meeting today. It's great!! The first song, "The Voice from Within" is very moving and disturbing at the same time. I love the mix of the ocean sounds in the background. "Heaven" is awesome. I have to listen to "Unfathomable Divine Mercy" again because the first song was still on my mind when "Divine Mercy" was playing.
You have a beautiful voice that reflects your love for God very clearly. It is an honor to know such a gifted person as yourself. May our all Powerful God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) continue to bless you with His Love, Grace and Mercy as you spread His Word to the world in word and song!!"

A priest who knows me sent this message:
"It was great seeing you in Springfield and I listened to the cd on the way up to Rochester, NY. You have a beautiful voice. I pray that the CD is effective in the conversion of many souls."

A man in another state wrote this:
"Thanks Darillyn,
Those songs are awesome. The meaning behind each is so poignant. The second song really touched my heart. Because I need to know He loves me and forgives me. Thanks for the reinforcement...I really needed that...You have an incredible voice. Praying for you and your music. Take care and God Bless."

That same man wrote back the next day, saying:
"You are definitely manifesting the Glory of God within us. My music director also commented on what a great voice you have and wanted to know if you lived up here. Think she wanted to get you in our choir. Just had a thought. Maybe we could get you up here to sing your beautiful songs. I'll check into it...Take care and God Bless."

Some of you have heard Ron Watson on the radio promoting Pentex Ionizers. He wrote:
"Dear Darillyn,
I listened to your song off of your "A New Life" album and was quite moved by it. Your voice and your message is a poignant reminder to all of us of the carnage reaped by the abortions throughout the world. The picture on the cover speaks louder than words of the sanctity and preciousness of life even in the womb, what a picture, what a message.
I'm very proud to have known you and more proud of the work you're doing.

The deacon of my parish said he was washing dishes as he played the CD. "The first song brought tears to my eyes," he said. "It was so moving!"

A man I never met before followed me out the door as I was leaving the chapel after Mass one day and called out to me, "Was that you I heard singing on the radio last Sunday?" I turned around and said, "Yes. How did you know it was me?" He said his wife guessed it was my voice. Evidently, they heard me singing during the Mass. He told me that he was driving in his car and my song "Unfathomable Divine Mercy" came on the radio. "I know men aren't supposed to cry," he said, "but I just have to tell you that while I was listening to your song, I couldn't help it. My glasses were sliding down my nose because of the tears! How can I buy your CD?"

These songs are touching people's lives in a very positive way. They are God's messages to His people put to music and sung from the heart.

I wrote these songs with the emphasis on the words rather than the melody. It's all about the message. This CD is not meant for entertainment. Rather, it is to be a source of inspiration for God's weary world.

"The Voice From Within" is written from the perspective of an unborn baby in the mother's womb. The picture on the CD cover is from a photograph taken during corrective surgery on an unborn baby. Robert Honablue has been a recording engineer for more than 35 years and is one of the best in the field. He has worked with great artists, including Janis Joplin, Aretha Franklin, Miles Davis and Barbra Streisand. I told him how blessed I felt to have him involved in this. That was surely part of God's plan.

Singing has always been a big part of my life, but I never thought of going to a recording studio to make a CD. The Lord had a plan, though. This is His work; I am merely His instrument.

I wish my mother was alive to see how her daughter has used her God-given talent for His greater honor and glory. I dedicate "A New Life" in honor of Barbara Hill, my mother, a professional singer who set aside her own singing career to lovingly raise 7 children.

Throughout the production of this CD, I have prayed for it to be the way God wants it to be. I now leave the distribution of these songs to Him. May all the people whom God desires to hear these songs hear them and be inspired.

I have learned through life that if I depend on the Lord, He will never let me down. This has been a marvelous journey with Him....and it's only just begun.
