1 - RAIN: Darin's first release. Recorded when he was just 17 years old, RAIN is a collection of solo piano music throughout, nothing else. A perfect soundtrack to an evening rainfall.
2 - COLORS TO HEAR: Combines Darin's inspirational piano solos with light-string accompaniments (cellos, violins). Environmental sounds (ocean surf, crickets, swirling wind) ornament this record throughout. This CD is very tranquil.
3 - SOFT STORIES: Features eight instrumental pieces and four vocal pieces. The Instrumentals are, like COLORS TO HEAR, ornamented with beautiful strings and subtle sound effects. The vocals are powerful (early Elton John comes to mind) and have inspiring messages.
4 - SOULOS: The most dramatic of the group. This is Darin captured raw. Ecery song was improvised and is solo piano through and through, hence the title "SOULOS". This will be a favorite during a stormy night, or a warm bath and candlelight.
