ROBIN CRUTCHFIELD MAY BE CONTACTED AT robinleecrutchfield@gmail.com

After Robin Crutchfield founded and split from no wave noise band DNA, he evolved through several band lineup variations of a group tagged Dark Day. This is its third recorded incarnation, a toy synth duo of Robin Crutchfield and Bill Sack, one of the early New York groups embracing affordable analog synths and effects and tweaking them to their quirkiest potential. The album was originally a project under the wing of Lust/Unlust Productions and appeared in a limited release on vinyl for Plexus Records in 1981. The first pressing immediately and mysteriously disappeared into oblivion, leaving in its wake a skyrocketing legendary status for early electronics fans and vinyl collectors.
