DI is the work of Dan Numbers (guitar, Bass, yelling, programming) and Laurel Numbers (Vox, primary lyricist). Acoustic drum duties for the Glimmer album were courtesy of Bob Sable.
Their music is a mix of Industrial and Metal with a decidedly Gothic influence. The ethereal female vocals, shimmering guitar lines and melodic bass lines draw the listener in, only to slam them back when the music gives way to doom metal guitar riffs and distorted male vocals. All this, is underpinned by driving bass, clanking percussion loops and audio samples. Lyrically, The topics deal with the pain of this life from a decidedly spiritual perspective.
Influences are bands such as Circle of Dust, Bauhaus, The Violet Burning, and Living Sacrifice.
Their full length Album \"Glimmer\" (mastered by Emily Lazar of The Lodge in NYC) was released in June 2005 . 9 songs result in a full hour of music.
