Hey People! Many people tell me they enjoy music because it heals and sets them free. My first project was nominated for a WC Handy Award and I was blessed to open for the Movie Guide Awards!
My career carved by the capable hands of many of Gospel's best, Kurt Carr, Norman Hutchins, the late greats Ron Winans & Luther Vandross, to name a few. I'm most proud of my love for God to know that he is with me, gives me a new reason to sing every day! His message of being set free and telling others about his holy spirit is my mission. I so much want the listener to be blessed!
The title of my CD came out of life experiences that taught me that it was ALL for my good. I've been HEALED, broken hearted and SET FREE, and GOD is the only one who brought me out. My trials are now triumphs! My new CD under a new label is set for release soon. Say tuned... Remember you may have set backs but keep moving toward your goals. Many will come as wolves in sheep's clothing so pray before you sign anything in the industry!

This Anointing is Real

Darlene Day's CD is refreshing and very well done. All the songs are good, especially to be originals or original arrangements. "Let Your Reign" is my personal favorite, and I really like "Marching On". You'll find a lot of strong material for praise and worship such as "Blessed Me" and a well done "What a Friend". The variety is what I like most as well as Darlene's unassuming yet powerful delivery. Gospel music needs more albums like this one. God bless all who support the ministry of Darlene Day.
