Darlene Love is a true survivor and legend in the music industry. She helped to define the sound of the 60's. In this recent live concert recording, she performs many of her classic Phil Spector recordings, as well as some moving gospel numbers. Her voice is still ever so strong and soulful. She was inducted into the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame last year and it is great to see her receiving the recognition she deserves. For years, she has been a musical hero to so many, including Bruce Springsteen and Paul Schaffer and this fantastic CD will show you why.
