"From the famed Independence Day Festival in Berlin (with her multi- national band Easter Island) to the Appalachian String Band Festival in West Virginia, Americana Musician Darlyne Cain has toured throughout the world performing at festivals, clubs and special events. Her music career also includes performances in Asia and places beyond. This sampling of different cultures and life experiences has helped define her original music and refreshing acoustic sound. Nashville's top Americana radio station, The Phoenix, has not only embraced both of Darlyne's cd's, but after its initial release in 2000, one of her most popular songs, "By My Side" was placed in heavy rotation. Darlyne has also played the NEA Extravaganza (Nashville) and was a finalist for Lilith FAIR in Atlanta." -Dennis Warner
