Album Notes

Before you listen I would like to tell you a little bit about the cd your about to hear.

I recorded Instra-mental in 2004 and released it in 2006.I recorded it at home on a little studio I had built from scratch.Although I knew I could never match the big time studios I wanted to get as close as I could.

I tried to cover as many different genres as I could so please listen to all the samples..

Like most cds out there artist spend alot time trying to stay within their genre and more often than not every song sounds the same.I myself have cds like that and I think this is the reason that Instra-mental has done so well and my other cds have not.

I spent alot of time on this one because I myself had to play all the Instruments and do to fan reaction it was well worth it.

Often times people have asked me what Instra-Mental sounds like and I kind of get stuck and I really dont know what to tell them.

In 2007 and 2008 I released three cds I called them the three cds of horror. And yes they all are in the same genre but the deal with those cds were to attract b-horror movie makers to maybe use them as soundtracks.

So I hope you enjoy Instra-Mental as much as I did recording it....

Thanks
Darrell Deese

With the sheer honesty in Darrel's notes, I could help but listen to the samples on this CD, and I have to say, that this CD is worth every penny of the $8.00 asking price. In fact Darrel, don't sell yourself short, you're worth $12 to $15!!! Very melodic, showing an expertise with his instrument, and by the last track, it left me longing for more. I was even tapping my toes to the rhythms on some of the tracks. Each song is unique and original, not just carbon copies with different melodies as some of the instrumental guitar CD's that I've sampled. Keep up the wonderful music Darrel, as you will do well and go far!!

I have all of Darrell's cd's but this one has to be the best one.I think it's great how he did so many different styles. It's almost like listening to different bands. This cd should be a number on seller on cdbaby. If it's not that's a shame because so many people are missing out on one of the best... tommy
