Album Notes

This is a 4-CD retrospective of the music I have been recording between 1998 and 2003. Encompassing many different styles, many different equipment configurations, it charts how one person can develop musically over a 5-year period.

The first three CDs in the collection features out-and-out instrumental music. It's hard to define the style as I don't think my music particularly sounds like anyone, so take your time to check out the sound clips. The performances and musical ideas on these CDs gradually improve over time and you can hear how my music develops.

The final CD is a compilation of all my soundscaped ambient pieces. This is a 60 minute mix of soundscapes created using my guitar rig over the same period of time. Imagine what Robert Fripp does with his guitar and you can guess what I am doing with my own soundscape music. All the performances here were recorded live with no overdubs.

This collection spans 4-CDs and gives you four hours of music to experience.
