A native of Long Island, New York, Darren Marc was born with a natural affinity for music. That affinity was brought to life when he saw one of his classmates playing piano in the 7th grade. Amazed at how many girls seemed to gather around the piano to hear his classmate play, Darren began taking piano lessons immediately. Perhaps the motivation was a strange one, but in Darren's case it worked. Within just a few months, Darren was writing catchy songs of his own. Guitar lessons would follow and by the 10th grade, Darren was singing and playing keyboards with his first band "Sonic Boom."

Now, many years later, Darren's pop-rock sensability and writing style continue to impress audiences all over the country. His live shows have been described as passionate, emotional, and moving.
