A native of Long Island, New York, Darren Marc was born with a natural affinity for music. That affinity was brought to life when he saw one of his classmates playing piano in the 7th grade. Amazed at how many girls seemed to gather around the piano to hear his classmate play, Darren began taking piano lessons immediately. Perhaps the motivation was a strange one, but in Darren's case it worked. Within just a few months, Darren was writing catchy songs of his own. Guitar lessons would follow and by the 10th grade, Darren was singing and playing keyboards with his first band "Sonic Boom."
Now, many years later, Darren's pop-rock sensability and writing style continue to impress audiences all over the country. His live shows have been described as passionate, emotional, and moving. His new e.p "Drive," is already getting attention from both indy and major labels. Don't miss this opportunity to pick up a great c.d!

author: Jessica HamI am so privileged to write the first review for this AMAZING CD. There is no question that Darren Marc is going to be the next big thing. His CD "DRIVE" ROCKS! Darren writes all his own songs and for that I respect him so much more than his pop-star counterparts. Darren's true to life lyrics get in your mind and stay there, whilst maintaining a fun, catchy sound. I LOVE every song in this CD - definitely the best new CD I have heard for a long time. Finally, a guy with some real talent hits the music scene. We'll be sure to see great things from him.
