Album Notes

Darren grew up in the small town of Long Lake, Minnesota. His love for music began at a very young age, and he’s been singing ever since. Playing the guitar was quick to follow. He has a great appreciation for the synergy of words and music. Darren enjoys any music that goes beyond surface level…music that exudes innovation and creativity.

As for his own music, he sees it as quite simple. Darren’s hope is that when listening to his music, the audience would be compelled to feel what he felt as he wrote it. Even beyond that, though, his desire is to impact the world, whether or not it takes the form of music.
