Album Notes

Darron "Cookie" Moore like so many "Motown" residents loves music. Starting at the youthful yet, ripe age of eight his musical journey began with piano and increased to a passionfor drums and now his favorite instrument, the bass guitar. A graduate of S. Martin DePorres High in Detroit, Michigan, he then went to study music at Grambling University, Eastern Michigan University, and Wayne State University.
A devoted husband and father his music embraces his family experiences that are essential to his being. Giving thanks to God who makes all things possible is his armor for strength and endurance. For Darron "Cookie" Moore this Cd is the beginning of better things to come. His musical influences include such musical legends as Jaco Pastorius, Victor Wooten, Marcus Miller, Stanley Clarke, Wayman Tisdale, and John Patitucci. Cookie presently endorsed by S.I.T stings Yamaha Basses and Galligen Kruger amps.
