Album Notes

Daryl Snider started singing four part harmony in church, was trained as a classical oboist and tenor, picked up saxophone in college and then guitar. His diverse musical experience includes funk band Rupa Dupa, The Wheatland Chorale, cover band Done with Therapy, various jazz ensembles, male quartet Spare Parts, and numerous one-off gigs. Living in Haiti and Brazil further broadened Daryl’s musical understanding. In recent years, he has enjoyed learning the art & craft of songwriting and exploring the ways music can connect people across social divides.

Daryl is a masters candidate at the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding at Eastern Mennonite University, focusing his studies on the role of music in improving the quality of life for everyone in communities around the world. Daryl's songs speak to his eagerness to live and learn boldly with hope, respect and dignity for all.
