Album Notes

Rob Dasaro started as an aspiring young piano student from Vermont, he began his musical journey at Mount Mansfield High School. Over the years left his home town of Jericho to enrich himself in the culuture of Burlington and the University of Vermont. Robert played his first gigs out with an industrial band known as the "Astronauts in Grave Peril". Later he joined the "Joneses" , noted for sharing the stage with the band "Phish". Rob also played in two University of Vermont musicals: Jesus Christ Superstar and West Side Story. In the late eighties, Rob moved to Boston to hook up with a community college Jazz enesemble and a soul band in Camebridge.

In the last decade, Rob moved to the Roaring Fork Valley and began touring with a group called "Monkey Train ". With a solid local following, Rob and the band played Jazz Aspen and Harmony Festival and enjoyed the oppurtunity to jam with artists such as Al Green's band and Warren Haynes . After the band split up, Rob helped to form "Seventh Hour" and "Jes Grew", both of which are still actively performing in the Aspen night life. At the turn of the century, Rob and his family returned to Vermont where he continued to grow musically. Teaching piano to six students and reuniting with some former "Joneses" mates to form " Doctor Jones" , he continued to gig and begin work on his first solo C.D.

Recently, Rob has moved back to the Roaring Fork Valley with his family. Stimulated by the completion of a debut solo recording, Rob looks forward to sharing his music through both solo and ensemble acts . Rob has reformed with friends to create the bands "elemenopee,"Funky Monkey and the Thunder love" and "Jes Grew". With a rock'n'roll style influenced by everything from Celtic to Latin sounds he hopes you will enjoy the Camaro tunes.Robert is working on new material hoping to get it to you soon.If you are interested in live performance visit his website and click on the sonic bids link.
