This CD has been calling to me since I first got it. Truly distinct melodies and unique grooves are in abundance. Drummer Comess drives the whole thing with a sense of ease. Great music to listen to, dance to, or populate the planet to. My favorite: Dancing Bear!

Capture the pulse of NYC, and this is how it talks.
author: Cara Gardella
The fellas at NYEP have done it again! Finding all those hard to reach places, Blues in Full Moon rushes in to fulfill the musical voids lingering roundabout the cosmos. Try Functuation, with a syncopation so capricious it trips itself, yet so tangible that the listener may grasp on for the ride; the same quality reveals itself threefold in War is the New Peace. Satellite creates its own gravisphere with a freefall swing, while Divine Corners will craddle one back into the womb with its mesmeric hook. Last track, Bounce this Puppy, brings one back to firm ground with its light-hearted, night-on-town appeal, thus tapping into the buoyancy that keeps the great city of New York afloat.
