I wrote this song for Angie, a friend of mine who found out she had stage 3 breast cancer in November 2007. After masectomy surgeries, Chemo and Radiation therapy treatments this year, Angie is now preparing to walk in the upcoming Seattle \'Susan G. Komen 3-Day Breast Cancer Walk\' in September! My hope is that for those of you currently going through cancer treatments, along with those of you who are just finding out you have cancer, you can find hope and encourement in this song. For those of you who are fortunate enough to escape cancer, keep up with those annual check ups!

The song talks about a women whose life was cut short by breast cancer because she ignored the signs her body had given her, and was \"too busy\" to schedule an appointment with her doctor. The morale of this song is...don\'t be that person! Angie; thank you for making that appointment. Even though it has been a very difficult year, you are a survivor!!
