AT http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/davecox7

This is the first CD of all orginal material recorded by Dave Cox- one of Nashville\'s most extraordinarily unique and prolific songwriters. Cox began work on this album soon after he moved to Nashville from Louisville, KY in 2004.

Released in February, 2005 this cd consists of straight traditional country music with a modern lyrical edge. Included are the songs Alcohol Of Fame and When Yer Sober, both of which are currently receiving radio airplay in the U.S., Canada and Europe.

The Coxmen, Cox\'s regular bandmates in Nashville, are also featured on this CD, as is former BR549 member Gary Bennett.

We love Dave Cox!

We have seen Dave a couple of times in Nashville. He is one of the greatest new songwriters to come along in a long time. he is the consummate story teller (reminiscent of Kris Kristofferson - but as funny as Ray Stevens!) This CD has some of the best songs we have heard in a long time. Our personal favorite: "Airways Motel" which we actually took pictures of while we were in Nashville. Don't miss him at Roberts' Western World.

I like this cd quite alot. It sounds like something that would have come out in the sixties, but it still sounds fresh. The lyrics are one-of-a-kind.

I bought this CD last month in Nashville from the man himself and I can't quit listening to it. Every song on it is better then anything Ive heard on the radio in years. I think Alcohol Of fame is a hit, but my favorite is Oneway Track. ---Merle who?

I love the sounds and feel of traditional country music. Where have they all gone? To Robert's Western World in Nashville that's where. My favorites include I Don't Cry anymore, lost, and alcohol of fame. A co-worker loves the Merle type sounds. Keep it coming.
