Album Notes

This album features mostly original music by Dave Halls along with a few jazz standards, making it an easy-to-listen album with a mixture of Latin, funk and jazz.

Apart from Dave Halls, it features a range of prominent Sydney musicians including Steve Morrison (bass), Rob Sullivan (guitar), Gabe Hons (drums/percussion) and Dave Azzopardi (drums).

The exicting line-up was able to capture the Sydney urban vibe that the musicians lived in, and in a casual way that was like walking home. Heading in a direction but without having to rush or prove anything, just enjoy life.

Get this album if you'd like some sophisticated jazz styles with a bit of extra colour.
