Album Notes

David Jacoby is a multi-instrumentalist composer / dance accompanist. He has worked with dance schools and universities all up and down the Front Range in Colorado and Wyoming, playing for both Modern Dance and Ballet. He brings together all of his favorite instruments on this album, including Bagpipes from different European countries, Piano, Drumset, and percussion from the Near East and Africa, as well as his favorite music styles, most notably those of the Baltic region, and East Asia. This album is designed to be used in the Modern Dance class context, with even and odd times going all the way up to fifteen beats
