Dave Lemon’s debut album, Stumble In, is an encapsulated tide of melodic energy and undercurrents. The songs are born of experience.
“I got in the studio to record after meeting up with Pat Gray (Producer/Bassist) and Mike Hommel (Drummer). The collaboration gelled into a powerful recording experience that crystallized creative energy into a solidified work. We were in a peak flow of creativity and boundless energy that pushed on through barriers of time. When I thought of the sound of the album, I wanted it to sound like we were playing in one's living room. The original vision transposed into a woven soundscape of power pop, full of energy and life."
About the Songs:
1. Relax (3:41): Chill out and “Relax” from the enduring “rat race” chasing after a carrot.
2. Standing On Stilts (3:16): We can become elevated by the ego or humbled by reality. We can be captive by fear or unleashed by faith.
3. Stumbled In (3:26): A trial of alcoholism and knowing one’s limitations.
4. Cell (5.27): A city's character.
5. Plasma Junkie (3.25): Donating plasma for money.
6. Remember (3.20): A reflection of coming of age.
7. Freedom Of Choice (3:43): Taking personal responsibility for ones actions.
8. Some Girls (2.59): . “Some Girls” indulges the fantasy of rock & roll and the reality that lies just beneath the surface.

"...“Stumbled In” is a high-octane hoedown..." - J.R. Oliver

Here's what Ear Candy Magazine says:
Dave Lemon,"Stumble In" (Off The Vine Records)
Somewhere between REM’s Michael Stipe and Arlo Guthrie lies the land that Dave Lemon wanders. There’s a bit of Richard Thompson in the mix as well. Ten upbeat pop songs with a radio edit version of “Cell” to boot. The cd starts off with “Relax” which is all about just that. “Stumbled In” is a high-octane hoedown about the woes of overindulging and so is “Plasma Junkie”. “Freedom Of Choice” paints a picture much like a Springsteen song . “Job Hopper” is a sheik of Arabia trip through unemployment with Beatlesque lyrics. Some interesting stuff here...

A record full of nice songs you can whistle to or sing along or hum to or even listen to. Very useful to fight severe bad-mood-attacks.
