Album Notes

This album consists of instrumental acoustic guitar tracks (mostly finger-picking style and some flat picking) that I have written and recorded over the last 15 years. All of these tracks were recorded independently in Maine, Texas, and Kansas and were often inspired by these places. Although I generally stay within in the realm of traditional Folk/Blues, I do experiment with various alternate tunings as well as synthesized soundscapes (listen to the track Despedida). The production of this CD album is very high quality and professionally packaged.

I have always had a special love for the acoustic steel string guitar, its warmth, simplicity, and subtle expressiveness. I hope that you experience as much joy in listening to this album as I have had in creating it.

I love acoustic guitar, and what I've heard so far I really like. I like Dave Luxton, and I would buy somthing else by him if it became available. Thanks Dave!

As a guitarist myself, I really appreciate it when I hear guitar music that has richness in sound and skillfulness in playing. Luxton's CD has both. I also appreciate his playing of many different Genres, not often done by musicians. I would say this is a great, unique album to add to your collection!
