Dave Morrow is a singer/songwriter who is also a worship leader in Southern California. His musical style and song writing betrays his 60’s and 70’s musical influences like James Taylor, The Eagles, Dan Fogelberg, ... you get the drift. Dave’s approach to “worship music” for the church, is to make it real, and accessible to the average person. “The music we hear in church does not need to be any less attractive to listen to than what you might hear on the radio every day, as long as it glorifies the Creator”. “Scarlet River” is a collection of 15 such songs in an acoustic guitar driven package.

This is a great worship CD. The singers really poured their hearts out as they worshipped. Also, I really appreciate the genuiness of the lyrics. I would recommend this CD for anyone who loves any type of christian music. Read more...
