Wow. It\'s finally here and it\'s hot. I hope that those of you reading this will or already have listened to the tracks on the new cd \"JoyRid\'N. One thing about this cd is that it is NOT boring. There is plenty of variety of styles that will keep you listening. It\'s Smooth Hot and Sweet!!. Here is a write up of the songs and the visions behind them:
1) When 2 R 1 (Genesis 2:24)
For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.
This was written for my Brother Dan\'s Wedding back in June of 2007. They were totally surprised and loved it.
Style: Smooth Jazz
2) Joy Rid\'N
Too many people are without knowing the Joy of the Lord. As Christians, we need to be cruising down our neighborhoods/area of influence and be that light that shines so people can know that joy. There\'s always room
for one more in this vehicle.

4) Come, All who Are Thirsty (John 7:37)
On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, \"If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.\"
During the time that this took place, most teachers would stay seated and teach. When someone would stand, it really
meant something important. I believe Jesus looked around the room and he saw all the people and he saw everything
they were going through. He saw their sin, grief, anguish, joy, all of it. And he looked at them with Love and
compassion and knew they were dry spiritually and offered the living water.
This started out as a silly song I used to sing to my son when he was 3 or 4. When I was driving, he would be in the
back seat in his car seat. I would start singing Bumba-Way to him and then he would start singing it back. I did the same with my daughter and now my youngest son. I think about that experience and think about that we are in the back seat and God is driving and he is singing to us and we\'re singing back to him connecting in a cool way. It then occurred to me that our children are our joy and we are the joy of God. We are his prize. So I would define BUmba-Way as \"A Father\'s Joy\'\". The truth here is , it doesn\'t matter who we are or what circumstances brought us into this world. It doesn\'t matter who our parents are . good or bad. YOU ARE THE FATHERS JOY and you have a full inheritance waiting for you. Go grab it.... BUMBA-WAY...

KIDS LOVE THIS!!!
7) Just Me And My Friend (Luke 24:13 33)
I think about how sometimes Jesus just wants to hang out with us. I\'m not talking about approaching us as a deity even though he is , but rather coming to us as an ordinary guy. Maybe he wants to take a walk with you or gio shopping with you or ride a bike with you. He wants to be our friend on our level. I think about how Jesus walked disguised with twomen on the road to Emmaus.
It\'s recorded in Luke 24:13 - 33
...When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. Then their
eyes were opened and they recognized him, and he disappeared from their sight. They asked each other, \"Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?\"
Style: Smooth Jazz/Latin
This Is a song of letting go.
Style: New Age
9) Perseverance (Romans 5:3 - 5)
Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;
perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his l
love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
The Christian walk is a constant battle. At times we feel like giving up. This is a song about the struggle , the fight , and the victory. A perfect example is Jesus praying the night before going to the cross. He could have ran but asked for strength from his father. He received that strength and then the words came out of his mouth \"Not my will but your

10) Sweet Aroma (2 Cor 2:15)
For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.
Style: Sweet Smooth Jazz
11) Sending In Judah (Judges 1:1,2)
After the death of Joshua, the Israelites asked the LORD, \"Who will be the first to go up and fight for us against the
The LORD answered, \"Judah is to go; I have given the land into their hands.\"
I love this as why Judah was to go first. Read it here in Genesis 29:31-35
When the LORD saw that Leah was not loved, he opened her womb, but Rachel was barren. 32 Leah became
pregnant and gave birth to a son. She named him Reuben, for she said, \"It is because the LORD has seen my misery.
Surely my husband will love me now.\"
33 She conceived again, and when she gave birth to a son she said, \"Because the LORD heard that I am not loved, he
gave me this one too.\" So she named him Simeon.
34 Again she conceived, and when she gave birth to a son she said, \"Now at last my husband will become attached
to me, because I have borne him three sons.\" So he was named Levi.
35 She conceived again, and when she gave birth to a son she said, \"This time I will praise the LORD.\" So she named
him Judah. Then she stopped having children.
It\'s so cool that when the battle was to be fought, PRAISE marched in first!!! Praise is our weapon....
