Album Notes

A not-so-rare look inside the twisted minds of one of the country's fastest-pickin', most-frequently under-promoted folk groups, the Dave Rowe Trio. Grab one now and see why visionaries and persons of note all over this fair country are saying, "Who?!" Yes that's right! Nobody knows them until they suit up in their traditional folk-music-approved Spandex uniforms; red, green, and fuchsia clown noses; and L.L. Bean fence climbing sneakers, and get in their pink and green stretched limousine outfitted by Eddie Bauer's lessor-known and less talented cousin Itzhak Arphool to drive to Blue Ball, Pennsylvania, just so they can say they've been there. And if that's not enough, they make some really good CDs that nobody, yours truly included, seems to know how to describe in any meaningful way. So just click on those sample links to the left and make your own decision—but when you are finished please try clicking on the "Add to Cart" button. You will not be disappointed.

Gets better every time I listen to it, especially Maple Sugar Mountain and Quebecois.

Must buy for FIDDLER'S FANTASY and QUEBECOIS.
author: Claire
Ed Howe doing his Fiddler's Fantasy is worth the price. Quebecois is a tribute to all French Canadians who came to Maine to work the mills in the early 1900s. If you can't see the trio in person the CD is the next best thing.Buy it!
