Album Notes

At the begining of 1995, I was working at a local recording studio. In search of new talents, I ran an ad in a local newspaper - "local producer looking for new artists". One of the people who answered that ad was a little more serious than all the others - a songwriter, Luciann Nadeau. We did a five song project together and both quickly realized the potential of our relationship.

Two years later, we had written many new songs together and decided to embark on a new recording technique - recording them ourselves - on computer. And so was born STRAY DOG MUSIC PRODUCTIONS. I built the studio at my home specifically for our projects.

Stray Dog Music Productions is a recording studio located in Gig Harbor Washington. It is mostly computer based with specific pieces of cutting edge equipment and is capable of producing master quality recordings. I am the engineer /producer and have been playing and recording professionally for over 30 years. I play most of the instruments (guitar, bass, drums, mandolin, flute, dobro, keyboard & vocals and we hire any extra vocalists and musicians as needed. All of our writing and recording is completed in the studio.

Luciann does all our marketing. We have placed several songs in Nashville and currently have a song selling on our own website ANewCryForFreedom.com and CD.BABY We have been submitting material to TAXI for six years and have had many songs forwarded. Some of our material is available at www.Broadjam.com and are also set up to stream music through several different avenues.

We were given an “Honorable Mention” by Robert K. Oermann of Music Row Magazine for “A New Cry For Freedom” and recently a positive review from Mr. Oermann for our latest song titled “I Just Called Him My Son.”
