The project entitled “Storyline” is a collection of Dave’s original songs and includes styles ranging from “cool” bluegrass to modern country. Williford began this recording project with the idea of a southern gospel, country and bluegrass mix that would combine his familiar piano sound with that of the fiddle, steel guitar, and exciting lead riffs to create a sound that would draw the listener in to the message of the song. From the first rousing banjo licks of “Get On Board” to the southern sound of “Move Along”, the CD delivers a great listening experience and the moving story of redemption! “Together the songs on this CD tell the story of mercy and salvation”, says Dave. “Individually they share a testimony of hope and goodness.” Produced by Dave Williford and Jeff Collins of Crossroads Music, “Storyline” succeeds in delivering the Good News with creative music and a powerful storyline.
