David Allen, a native of Isle of Wright County, born to Bessie and David Allen, began singing praises to the Lord at age 7. David and his siblings formed a group and began singing at various functions throughout the community. David was Baptized in Christian Home Baptist Church where Rev. Solomon E. Diggs was pastor and his grandmother Mrs Eva V. Graves was church organist. He also Sang with the the Late Great "Amos Davis and the Angelic Choraleers" where he gain insight concering ministry. David blessed many people through his high tenor voice reminiscent of his grandfather. In 1997 David had a new calling on his life, He received a prophetic word through Evangelist Barbara Olds. Upon receiving confirmation, he prepared to take heed and run with it. thus, forming his first group of singers, "Christlike". Due to the unexpected illness of his aunt and ucle, the group stopped singing in order for him to care for his family. In 2006 once again God stepped in and gave David the vision, which brought about David Allen & Favah. Blessings upon blessings began to shower the group as they ministered to all people in various venues. Currently, the group consist of 16 members who enjoy praising the Lord through song, sharing the love of Christ and ministering to lost souls. We give God all the glory for all he has done and will continue to do. This is the Lord's Doing and it's MARVELOUS in our eyes. We are so blessed and we share our blessings with you with our 1st Cd release, "All Because of You," may it minister to you the wonders of His power.
