The Messenger

ROCK AND ROLL TRAIN is a song written to show Davids’
appreciation of some of the late musical artists who
influenced his career along the way. SUNSHINE LADY is
a descriptive song about ones love for his woman. ST
LOUIS WOMAN just adds to the description using other
lyrics. HEY NOVA SCOTIA is a memory in words and music
of his early days growing up in that province..
DRIFTER is simply another instrumental to reflect the
sound and style of Duane Eddy in the 50s. I DON’T
WANT TO SAY GOODBYE is a song about divorce. JACK
tells the story of a singer/musician who though very
talented never quite made it in the music business.
NIGHTS OF BLUE is a song that David wrote in his
early years which received very good reviews at the
time. It was originally a vocal but became an
instrumental. INTO THE DARKNESS is Davids’ tribute to
firefighters around the world. MAN FROM ADANO is an
instrumental inspired by the British group The
Shadows.
