WOW !!! what an HONOR . As of Oct 2004 this CD has been submitted by a field member of The Recording Academy , Mr. Phil York of York Town Digital for consideration for a GRAMMY nomination in three categories . The categories are ; Best Country Album , Best Male Country Vocal Performance and Best Country Song , for the song " Good Ole Country Music And Western Swing " . The song also hit # 1 on the European Country Music Assc. Singles chart in Jan 2004. David's first three CDs were also submitted for consideration for GRAMMY nominations. He now has a total of eight submissions that has made the list to be eligible for a nomination. Attention : ( No nominations was received for any of these submissions ) .
David is now a semi-retired truck driver and is spending more of his time performing and promoting all of the songs he has written and recorded over the years. He performs at the local Opry's and Festivals as well as private parties and company meetings. He , his beautiful wife Becky and their dog Scotty will now be traveling around the USA promoting his music. Keep an eye out for his display in the Dallas / Ft.Worth area Truck Stops , Chrome Shops and RV Shops . This is Country Music the way it used to be. Traditional Country , Western Swing and some songs with a touch of humor will keep you entertained from the first song to the last . On this CD , David & his son Bryan Cline , (www.bryancline.com) recorded one of Hank Williams all time classics titled " Move It On Over " . What a GREAT song and what a fun time they had recording it . David sincerely hopes you will enjoy their version for a long time to come. David co-wrote and recorded a song titled " Daddy , I Understand " with a beautiful and talented young lady by the name of Ms. Liz Foster.
