Solid Ground

David Elliott is one of the greats of our time who has never been fully acknowledged as such. A great songwriter like David Elliott display\'s qualities such as honesty, authenticity and empathy. His songs display his talents in melody, harmony and rhythm which are paramount in creating that popular song. I believe that David Elliott looks at life through two eyes: one of wisdom; the other as a child; he listens and is a born poet who also listens to the sounds of the present. David Elliott\'s songs really need to be listened to in order to understand his genius with feelings and deep understanding of the heart. I hope that he will be recognised as such in his lifetime!

Great 2nd Album
author: David McIlroy
A more polished production than the first release from David Elliott and just as enjoyable to listen to as his eponymous first release.I love this Guy's music.Have done since the mid 70s.Just wish he had reached a wider audience way back when so that more people would have become aware of this very talented artist.Thankfully I was one of the lucky ones to know of and once again have, with the c.d releases of his two Atlantic albums, his songs back in my life..Thanks David! Oh! b.t.w David took the time to answer an email I sent him regarding his music. That was special! BUY IT !
