Album Notes

By the time Dave graduated High School, he had written over one thousand songs. By the time Bullett, his main band, came together, he was approaching fifteen hundred (quality, as well as quantity). To say he was (and is) prolific is an understatement. By the time the band broke up, they had an original live set list of sixty five tunes, and drew a crowd with them, too. Dave has since found his own 'voice' and prefers to work on his own, producing, arranging, performing, and programming his music. He has the talent and skills to produce a professional product.

Dave came out of Missouri and landed in Boulder, by way of Gainesville, FL and Colorado Springs. With his gifted vocals and songwriting, he fronted the rock band Bullet, which was a popular and regular fixture in Boulder during the mid 70s to the early 80s, when Dave and his manager relocated to LA in search of the ever-elusive 'deal'. They came very close a few times and recorded some demos and a single for a few major labels, competing with disco and punk all the way. He has taken many roads since and is now in what is probably the most creative and polished phase of his career.

He is not self-referential and writes in many styles and a few genres, although staying in the orbit of mostly rock, with the occasional side trip into something completely different. While you will recognize the voice, you will never hear any leftovers. His originality is complete.

His current goals are releasing his music for others to enjoy as well as song placement.
