Sweet jebus mary oxmas is he great and does the CD rock. As expected it just grooves and grooves and doesn't come at all close to monotonous shredder territory. I loved his work on WHENEVER WE WANTED with Mellencamp. What a treat. One of the best rocking groove oriented pieces of music I've heard in years!!!

Can't Get Enough
Just listened to Davids 1st solo CD. Great guitar "pickin" coupled with a beautifully soothing voice. Can't wait for the 2nd CD! Keep making me want to move my body. Just can't sit still. A lot of talent rolled into one amazing musician.

Great Tunes Dave!
Bought cd following excellent recent review in Guitarist magazine. On listening found to be thoroughly deserved - well written songs, excellent guitar & just an overall great cd. buy with confidence!

Frank Balash

Excellent CD by a great player with awesome tone. His songwriring and voice are also very good. Maybe David will now get the recognition by the general public that he deserves.

Great Guitar Playing
Great tone, Great playing!! As a guitar player myself and having a brother who plays professionally this is exactly the type of recording we look for. It's a treat to here him play without other artist and not being over produced. No muscial ignorance on this one. Kudos to Boots.

Linwood Hines

Buy this cd. David's music will be consider classical - on the level of a few other guitar masters - as he matures. Some simple, some complex - the guitar part of the music is phenominal. Voice is fine, better than many others. Buy this one - listen and relish.

I was scanning the CDBABY site and stumbled upon davids CD, I thought it to be refreshing. It is Texan but some how better. Great work man good luck with that solo career.

Loud Music
Oh Yes!! How good is this - its just the best!! How rewarding to find a cd of real quality music from an equally quality artiste. This is just so great, each track seems to have & hold its own character, with truly tasteful writing & music production thru'out. Each track stands out as unique,a mark of this tremendous guitarists dedication to his craft. He also credits the gear used in this sublimely produced album so the rest of us have a roadsign to folow - we may not get there but damn we'll enjoy the(Midnite)Drive. Lets have much more of this, David, and soon!
