MORE AND MORE I FEEL JUST LIKE I'M TRAPPED IN A DUNGEON IN THE PRISON OF MY OWN MIND. HALLOWMONIUM (WITH BACKUP) IS A MELTED FUSION OF HIGHLY DYSFUNCTIONAL HARMONY THAT WALKS A TIGHT ROPE BETWEEN THE CEREBRAL AND THE INSANE.

Well you've Heard My Original 'David Hatfield's Hallowmonium... 6 Original Halloween Songs on Harmonium [(back in 2004) -without back up-.]

There's a certain rawness that creates a distinctive mood I like to think. I've always wanted to do more with it though.

So NOW HERE'S--- HALLOWMONIUM(WITH BACK-UP)---

A whole new mood is set with these new recordings. I added guitar, bass, and harmonium of course. I also did quite a bit with weird percussion on some songs and many of them were recorded by candle light, often with incense which you'll especially notice in 'The Mortal and the Dead', 'Frankenstein' and 'Friends in the Graveyard'. I tried to better incorporate my 'Folknick' element which is mostly singing with just a bit of talking. At least five of the songs have this element. I'm really happy with how it turned out and I don't doubt you'll enjoy most of these, because they're pretty unique, they've got hooks, they're poetic, dark yet accessable and I like to think the gothic element is still strong on many or most. They'll make a great addition to your IPOD especially for Halloween, but aren't half bad for easy listening you may notice. Well minus one or two anyway. Enjoy!

I'm enjoying your music. I love American music. It's kind of weird, but easy to listen also. Good Work.

I like the grain of your music. There's a certain warmth to it. The subject matter isn't warm, but the music has an interesting feel to it. Good stuff.

Makes me smile. Glad to have it. I organize haunted houses from time to time and I find that if I play 'Dimentia' on three different stereos at the same time, it really creeps people out. The other songs really have their own 'spirit'. It seems that you've probably put a lot of your own personality in these. You've got soul dude.
