The first solo record from former Fish Heads & Rice lead singer David James. The name may indicate David's escape from Nashville to the Caribbean but CLEAN GETAWAY may not be a complete getaway from his previous group so Fish Heads fan should find a lot to like here. Much of the CD was recorded at the world famous FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama with Former Fish Mark Matejka, Darrin Favorite and Stu “train” Brower joining in on the fun.

David had a hand in writing all of the tracks on the record, but help came from many of Nashville's finest songwriters. Walt Aldrige, Darrel Burgess, Will Rambeaux, Billy Crain, Mark Narmore, Blair Daily and Dickie Brown all contributed on CLEAN GETAWAY.
