Album Notes

The Silver Lining CD premiered on CBC Radio 2 in November and was featured at the 2006 Winter Olympics in the multimedia performances of Grammy Nominated Christopher Hedge. Sony Classical N.Y. describes this CD as " most attractive and appealing" and now Sony ATV has picked up the option to represent this work for film.
The Silver Lining Orchestra recorded this album at the famed Glenn Gould Studio in Toronto with Juno nominated conductor, Charles T. Cozens shaping the performance. Sonia Vizante, also Juno nominated, adds the lyrical voice of her solo violin work on several selections of this CD.
David J. Young's compositions have been heard around the globe having written for documentary film and a variety of other music endeavors with Discovery Int'l, TLC, Bravo, Roger's Communications and World Cup and Olympic sport. He is presently working with Omni Media and Dan Akroyd on a new project. David is also involved as a multi instrumentalist and music educator.
